Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks is seeking qualified citizens to serve on the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board.

The board is a liaison between the community, the Ventura County Alcohol and Drug Programs and the board of supervisors.

The board's functions include reviewing, evaluating and preparing an annual report on the status of the community's alcohol and drug services, facilities, special problems and needs.

Meetings are scheduled the fourth Monday of the month in Oxnard.
