Reaching the pinnacle


Brian Ginell EAGLE SCOUT-  Brian Michael Ginell, 15, of Thousand Oaks received his Eagle Scout Award in a court of honor ceremony on Jan. 11. Brian's Eagle project benefitted the band and physical education departments of Redwood Middle School. He built storage shelves for the marching band's percussion section and also installed storage for P.E. equipment. He led a crew of 38 volunteers. Brian is a sophomore at Thousand Oaks High School, where he's an honor student and a member of the boys' soccer and volleyball teams. He's the son of Gail and Cary Ginell.
