Newbury Park

Two people, one known by the victim and one unknown, robbed a victim at gunpoint on Jan. 9 or 10 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 23, at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 3300 block of Peppermint Street; a male, 29, at 4:55 p.m. Jan. 13 at Lynn Road and Calle Laredo; a male, 43, at 10:45 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 800 block of Mitchell Road; a female, 50, at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino; and a male, 21, at 8:20 p.m. Jan. 9 at Old Conejo Road and Wendy Drive.

A female, 20, was arrested and charged with assisting the crime of a street gang and threatening to commit a crime at 6 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Platino.

A husband, 46, and wife, 41, were arrested and charged with battering each other, causing minor injuries, around 7:45 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 3200 block of Jessica Street.

For allegedly battering and injuring his girlfriend, and then punching and shattering the windshield of her truck, a male, 28, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Jan. 12 at Lesser Drive and Reino Road.

A male, 28, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and resisting arrest at 2:10 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 500 block of Juniper Court.

Charged with committing burglary (second incident), a female, 35, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 500 block of S. Reino Road.

A vehicle was vandalized between Oct. 1 and Jan. 2 in the 3300 block of Frankie Drive.

For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a female, 25, was cited at 9:35 a.m. Jan. 9 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 38, was arrested at 3 p.m. Jan. 12 at East Valley Sheriff's Station and charged with battering and injuring a juvenile. The crime occurred around 8 a.m. the same day at Lawrence Drive and Ventu Park Road in Newbury Park.

A female, 53, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 14 at Cayo Grande and Lesser Drive.

More than $400 in property was stolen on Jan. 13 or 14 in the 1100 block of Ramona Drive.

A home was burglarized on Jan. 13 or 14 in the 3500 block of Baxter Street.

A business was broken into and property stolen between Jan. 9 and 12 in the 1200 block of Old Conejo Road.

Somone stole books from locked storage containers several times between January and November last year in the 2400 block of Teller Road.

Grand theft occurred Jan. 6 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Jan. 12 or 13 in the 1600 block of Amador Lane; on Jan. 12 in the 500 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard (wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle); and between 6 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 1700 block of Newbury Road (electronic equipment and other valuables were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.)
