'King of Aces' to host golf shootout
Mancil Davis, the PGA world record holder for 51 career holesinone, known worldwide as the "King of Aces," will be the master of ceremonies at the Million Dollar Golf Shootout on Feb. 12 to 15 and 19 to 22 at Westlake Village Driving Range, 4812 Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village.
The Optimist Business and Professional Club of Conejo Valley is sponsoring this event to serve as a major fundraiser to benefit local youth and community groups who normally use Conejo Valley Days as their fundraising source.
The final round of the event on Feb. 22 will provide 25 shooters the chance to play for one of the 19 prize holes. The prizes range from $10,000 to $1 million. Every shooter in the final round will receive a prize.
Nongolfers will be entered into the many valuable prize drawings that will be held throughout the four days. Prize winners do not need to be present to win.
