Reform of healthcare to be discussed

The Community Forum presents Ellen Lubic, who will host a presentation and discussion of the prospects for healthcare reform during the Obama administration at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 16 at the Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3327 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park. Enter at Ruth Drive.

Lubic will screen a short film that is sponsored by Health Care for All. Before and after the film she will discuss issues facing the current healthcare system in the United States, the best options for reform and opportunities for activism.

Lubic is a university educator in public policy and a healthcare reform activist.

She has supported the Sheila Kuehl legislation for single-payer universal healthcare
