Conejo Recreation and Park District is seeking new members to assist in marketing and raising funds for this year's Fireworks Spectacular slated for Sat., July 4 in Thousand Oaks.

The Conejo Valley fireworks committee has found funding for this event over the past 10 years.

Sponsored by Conejo Recreation and Park District and the city of Thousand Oaks, the annual Fourth of July tradition attracts about 30,000 viewers each year and is simulcast on KCLU 88.3 FM radio.

The committee will start a marketing and fundraising campaign in February and March, seeking donations from individuals, organizations and local businesses to support the longtime community program.
