Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 37, at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 27 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road; a female, 25, at 2:41 a.m. Dec. 28 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road; a male, 29, at 6:48 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 1800 block of E. Hillcrest Drive; a female, 50, at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 23 at Greenmeadow Avenue, west of Moorpark Road (subject was allegedly involved in a singlevehicle, noninjury traffic collision); a male, 39, at noon Dec. 24 at Westlake and Thousand Oaks boulevards (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident, and was followed from the scene by the other person); and a male, 28, at 10:07 p.m. Dec. 25 at Avenida de Los Arboles and the 23 Freeway (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision.)

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 21, at 4:55 p.m. Dec.24 at South West Market and Deli liquor store on Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 18, at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 2400 block of Avenida de Las Plantas; and a male, 29, at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 25 in the 1500 block of Calle Artigas (subject also allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia.)

Three people allegedly battered someone at the Sunset Terrace Restaurant and Lounge at 235 N. Moorpark Road between 1:30 and 2 a.m. Dec. 24.

A male, 18, was arrested and charged with battery at 8:50 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 900 block of Calle Clavel.

A male, 42, was arrested and charged with inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant at 10:40 a.m. Dec. 25 in the 1700 block of Yarnton Court.

For allegedly committing battery and using force to prevent that person from leaving an apartment, a male, 29, was arrested at 8:35 a.m. Dec. 26 in the 200 block of Erbes Road. A female, 27, at the scene was also cited for battery, leaving minor visible injury.

A male, 42, was allegedly masturbating in public and was arrested and charged with lewd behavior at 1:10 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

For urinating in public, a male, 72, was cited at 12:35 p.m. Dec. 19 on Thousand Oak Boulevard, east of Rancho Road. A male, 54, was also cited for urinating in public—in the parking lot of Wells Fargo Bank at 140 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard—at 12:25 a.m. Dec. 28.

A male, 20, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 2:05 a.m. Dec. 25 in the 1700 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A male, 25, was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with committing a burglary in the 500 block of Hampshire Road around 2 p.m. Dec. 23.

On charges of shoplifting from a store in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive and possessing burglary tools, a female, 20, was arrested at 5 p.m. Dec. 29.

A female, 25, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane and charged with writing bogus checks.

A male, 33, was arrested and charged with battery and false imprisonment using violence at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 2200 block of Moorpark Road.

A male, 24, was cited for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run traffic collision at 4:50 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 3100 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A female, 18, was cited for soliciting without a permit at 8:31 p.m. Dec. 23 at Falling Star Drive and Pathfinder Avenue.

A male, 55, was cited for drinking in public at 4:50 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Utility water was stolen between Dec. 1 and 29 in the 700 block of Brossard Drive.

A computer was stolen from an unlocked home between Dec. 23 and 28 in the 3100 block of Calle Quebracho.

A purse was stolen at the Sunset Terrace Restaurant & Lounge between 1:20 and 1:40 a.m. Dec. 30 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Shoplifting was attempted at Longs Drugs, 60 N. Moorpark Road, around 2:15 p.m. Dec. 29.

A battery occurred around 7:30 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 2100 block of Calle Lys.

Vespa of Thousand Oaks was burglarized between 4:30 and 6:01 a.m. Dec. 29.

A mailbox was stolen between Dec. 21 and 27 in the 1800 block of La Granada Drive.

Property was stolen from inside a home and from a front porch between Dec. 16 and 22 in the 900 block of Shadow Lake Drive.

A walkway was damaged when a vandal lit numerous matches on concrete, leaving burn marks, on Dec. 24 in the 1600 block of Windy Mountain Avenue.

Property was stolen between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A home was burglarized between 2:15 and 4:05 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 500 block of Westminster Street.

A vandal damaged holiday decorations on Dec. 23 or 24 in the 3600 block of Lang Ranch Parkway.

Someone entered a home without permission between Dec. 20 and 22 in the 600 block of Erbes Road.

A vandal damaged property on Dec. 23 or 24 in the 1900 block of Berkshire Drive.

A vandal scratched the paint off of a car ($1,500 in damage) between Dec. 19 and 21 in the 2900 block of Heavenly Ridge Street.

A vehicle was keyed between 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Dec. 27 or 28 in the 800 block of Lynnmere Drive; between 7:20 and 7:48 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road; on Dec. 23 in the 3300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (unlocked); and between Dec. 22 and 24 in the 1700 block of Blossom Court (unlocked.)
