Newbury Park

A male, 48, allegedly pushed and hit his wife during a domestic dispute and was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 900 block of La Grange Avenue. When he was in the back of the patrol car, he allegedly kicked out the rear door window, causing $400 in damage. The subject's wife, 43, was also arrested and charged with battery.

Someone used a sharp object and a bat to injure three people between 2 and 2:15 a.m. Dec. 25 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata. The person also used a bat to smash a car window.

Somebody battered and seriously injured another person between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Dec. 25 in the 1600 block of Newbury Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 19, at 10:11 a.m. Dec. 27 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road; a male, 31, at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 29 at Rancho Conejo Boulevard and Hillcrest Drive (subject was stopped by police after allegedly being involved in a domestic dispute with his wife); and a male, 28, at 2:40 a.m. Dec. 30 at Lynn Road and Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 50, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 11:35 a.m. Dec. 27 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino.

Burglars entered a home and stole marijuana, a bong and $600 between 8 and 9 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 200 block of Via Mirabella. The total loss including damage was $2,000.

A male, 45, allegedly violated a domestic violence restraining order by being in the company of his son at his wife's house. He was arrested at 2 a.m. Dec. 29 in the 100 block of Lupe Avenue.

For possessing a switchblade knife, a male, 20, was cited at 5 p.m. Dec. 30 at Kimber Drive and Greenway Avenue.

A vandal removed window panels of three classrooms and stole four computers valued at $3,500 from Conejo Valley High School between Dec. 24 and 29.

A male, 21, was arrested and charged with possessing lock picks at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 26 at Ventu Park Road and Biotech Court.

A female, 33, was arrested on a shoplifting charge at a supermarket in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road around 5 p.m. Dec. 30.

Two males, ages 28 and 23, were cited for trespassing at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court. The crime occurred in the 100 block of Academy Drive.

Property valued at $300 was stolen from a business in the 2000 block of Corporate Center Drive between Dec. 19 and 23.

Someone entered a home without permission between 11:25 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 900 block of Deerfoot Street.

A male juvenile was arrested and charged with stealing a wallet from an unlocked car around 10 a.m. Dec. 28 in the 1000 block of Amberton Lane.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between midnight and 6 a.m. on Dec. 22 in the 400 block of S. Ventu Park Road; between 1 and 7 a.m. Dec. 10 in the 500 block of Los Vientos Drive (an iPod and a camera were stolen from an unlocked car); between 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 600 block of Clearwater Creek Drive; and between 3:30 and 3:55 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 700 block of Maplewood Court.
