Brisk but tolerable at the park

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers SOAKING UP THE SUN—On a cold, gusty winter day in Thousand Oaks visitors come from out of town to spend time at the Park and Bark facility on Avenida de Las Flores, just west of the 23 Freeway. Hollywood resident Steve Stassi, left, brought his Italian greyhound, Corso, who's nicely bundled in a coat and turtleneck. Ventura resident Gary Stammen, right, relaxes while his Kerry blue terriers roam the park. Both men said last Sunday that they like the Thousand Oaks dog park best and they travel here every week to meet each other with, of course, their dogs.
