SERVING IN UNIFORM

•Army Pfc. David L. Anderson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Andersen is the son of James and Kimberly Andersen of Westlake Village and a 2006 graduate of Westlake High School.

•Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Corey G. Mazza, son of Donna and Jerry Mazza of Thousand Oaks, recently received his commission as an officer in the Marine Corps after completing Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va.

Mazza is a 2003 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and joined the Marine Corps in October 2008.

•Army Pvt. Jose M. Fernandez has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Fernandez is the son of Manuel Fernandez of Thousand Oaks and a 2008 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School.
