Children's Bureau invites potential adoptive parents to orientation

An orientation for potential adoptive parents will be held from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Tues., Jan. 20 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.

All adults, English- and bilingual Spanish-speaking, are welcome.

Qualifying families and individuals will receive training, certification, funds and 24-hour support to help them care for the adopted children.

Especially needed are households that can provide a home to two or more children so that siblings can stay together.
