Conejo Valley Adult School Literacy Program will offer a free literacy tutor workshop from 9 to 1 p.m. Sat., Jan. 24 at the Conejo Valley Adult School, 1025 Old Farm Road, Room 5, Thousand Oaks.

The workshop will prepare volunteers to tutor adults in basic literacy skills. Volunteers do not need to have a teaching background.

After completing the training, volunteers will commit a minimum of two hours per week, days or evenings, to tutoring an adult student in the school's Literacy Center.
