Another Eagle Scout
EARNS TOP AWARD IN SCOUTING—Dan Parks, a student at Westlake High School, has reached the pinnacle in Scouting, the rank of Eagle Scout. Dan's service project was making body backboards for his Westlake High School advanced anatomy class. At the award ceremony, his teacher, Nancy Bowman, praised Dan and others who worked on the project. Dan is the son of Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks and her husband, Al.
