Newbury Park
The following two subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: A male, 25, at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 25 on Hillcrest Drive, east of Rancho Road; and a male, 60, at 4:25 p.m. Sept. 25 on Newbury Road, west of Trailside Court (single vehicle, non-injury traffic collision).
Somebody allegedly used a skateboard to assault and injure a campus supervisor at Newbury Park High School between 2:15 and 2:45 p.m. Sept. 23.
A male, 53, allegedly left his 6year-old son home alone for about two hours and was charged with child endangerment at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 100 block of Cindy Avenue.
A vandal damaged the gym at Sycamore Canyon School by dumping a bottle of solvent on the floor between Sept. 26 and 29.
A male, 32, allegedly pushed his live-in girlfriend, causing her to fall. He was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 10:25 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 3500 block of Baxter Street.
A male, 21, was arrested and charged with prowling, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of burglary tools and supplying alcohol to a minor at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 100 block of N. Wendy Drive. An 18-year-old male at the scene was arrested and charged with being drunk in public.
On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a male, 53, was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 22 at Borchard Road and Michael Drive.
A female, 21, allegedly stole several items from Kohl's around 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26. Police say they recognized the subject in a surveillance video, discovered two of the stolen items at her home during a lawful probation search and arrested her at 10 p.m. that same night in the 800 block of Avenida de Las Flores.
Medication was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Oak Shadow View Place between Sept. 19 and 24.
A thief stole $100 in valuables from a business in the 300 block of Giant Oak Avenue on Sept. 27 or 28.
A shoplifter stole merchandise from the 7-Eleven on Kimber Drive around 1 a.m. Sept. 30.
A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on Sept. 26 in the 300 block of S. Rancho Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Sept. 29 or 30 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; on Sept. 27 or 28 in the 500 block of N. Wendy Drive (vandal used an unknown object to try and pry open the doors of two cars); and on Sept. 25 or 26 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino (window smashed).
Thousand Oaks
A male, 42, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 3000 block of Camino Calandria. When asked to provide a urine sample, the subject urinated in his pants. The subject was also charged with obstructing justice and attempting to destroy evidence.
A male, 23, allegedly attempted to shoplift shoes from Mervyn's at 285 N. Moorpark Road around 2:35 p.m. Sept. 30. The subject also allegedly was under the influence of a controlled substance and lied to police about his identity.
On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 30, at 1:50 a.m. Sept. 30 at Wilbur Road and Pennsfield Place (subject allegedly left a 7-Eleven parking lot playing loud music); a female, 21, at 2:37 a.m. Sept. 30 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Moorpark Road; a female, 23, at 12:50 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 100 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 22, at 11 p.m. Sept. 28 at Olsen Road and Moorpark Road; and a female, 41, at 7:45 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 1600 block of N. Moorpark Road.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A female, 25, at 8:40 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 3000 block of Camino Calandria; a male, 19, at 12:20 p.m. Sept. 30 at Calle Diamonte and Avenida de La Plata; a male, 24, at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 30 at Westlake Boulevard and Kanan Road; a male, 24, at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Olivo; and a male, 26, at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 24 at Avenida de Los Arboles, west of Calle Bouganvilla (subject also allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia and prescription medication).
A male, 22, allegedly inflicted traumatic injury to the mother of his child and threatened her with bodily injury around noon on Sept. 26 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. The subject was arrested at 10:36 a.m. Sept. 29 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
A male, 50, was arrested on a domestic battery charge at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 1400 block of Calle Durazno.
A male, 22, was arrested and charged with battery Sept. 26 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.
A male, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, cocaine and drug paraphernalia at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 25 at the 23 Freeway and Hillcrest Drive. The subject was a passenger in a car stopped because the driver had a felony warrant.
A male, 38, was arrested on suspicion of committing battery at 8 p.m. Sept. 26 at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive.
Battery with injuries occurred around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 28 in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
A male, 18, was cited for possession of a gravity knife and marijuana at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 3200 block of Spring Meadow Avenue.
A male, 20, was arrested on charges of giving marijuana to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 2300 block of Sirius Street.
A male, 23, was charged with petty theft at 5:33 p.m. Sept. 26 after $105.50 worth of merchandise was stolen from Macy's at 220 W. Hillcrest Drive.
On suspicion of stealing property from her employer, Mervyn's, at 285 N. Moorpark Road, a female, 18, was arrested and charged with petty theft at 9:25 p.m. Sept. 25.
A female, 22, allegedly stole clothes valued under $400 and was arrested at 7 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
On suspicion of possessing several hundred counterfeit DVDs and CDs, a male, 27, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at Wilbur Road and Marin Street.
For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 30, was cited and released at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at Moorpark Road and Los Padres Drive.
A male, 20, allegedly possessed a small amount of marijuana in his car at 1:35 a.m. Sept. 25 at Brazil Street and Pennsfield Place.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public: A male, 22, at 4 a.m. Sept. 28 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road; a male, 29, at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 1900 block of Smokeyridge Avenue; and a female, 39, in the first block of N. Moorpark Road (subject was allegedly drinking beer in front of Starbucks).
Seven males between the ages of 27 and 49 were cited for drinking in public at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.
Property was stolen from a dorm in the 3200 block of Mountclef Boulevard near the Cal Lutheran University campus between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24. In another incident at CLU, a vehicle window was broken and the paint and body were damaged on the first block of Faculty Street. In a third incident, felony vandalism occurred on Sept. 24 or 25 at Thompson Hall, a student residence.
More than $400 in property was stolen from Ascension Lutheran Church and School at 1600 E. Hillcrest Drive between August 2 and Sept. 2. The crime was recently reported.
A computer was stolen from someone's unlocked house between 12:30 and 3 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 1900 block of El Monte Drive.
Shoplifting occurred at Tilly's, 33 N. Moorpark Road, around 3:40 p.m. Sept. 27.
The entry door and front windows of El Torito restaurant at 449 N. Moorpark Road were damaged ($1,350 loss) on Sept. 27 or 28.
Property was vandalized on Sept. 29 in the 4600 block of Calle San Juan. A similar crime occurred on Sept. 27 on the Triunfo Canyon Road bridge at Glastonbury Road.
Felony vandalism occurred on Sept. 28 in the 200 block of Brazil Street.
Property was stolen on the following dates and places: On Sept. 26 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road; between Sept. 8 and 28 in the 500 block of Hollyburne Lane; between Sept. 19 and 29 in the 2700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and between 10 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 2000 block of Hyssop Court (crime occurred during a birthday party).
Money was stolen from a laundry room coin box on Sept. 27 or 28 in the first block of N. Conejo School Road.
A watch was stolen from someone's gym bag Sept. 25 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road.
Spray painted graffiti resulted in property damage in the 200 block of Erbes Road on Sept. 28 or 29. Gang graffiti also was found at Estrella Park at 300 Erbes Road on Sept. 28 or 29.
Gang graffiti was discovered in a restroom at Los Robles Golf Course at 11:18 a.m. Sept. 28.
Hubcaps were stolen from a vehicle between 3 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Sept. 26 in the 1400 block of E. Janss Road; between 3:45 and 5 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 500 block of Houston Drive (rear window broken); on Sept. 25 or 26 in the 800 block of Saint Charles Place; on Sept. 23 or 24 in the 500 block of Oaktree Lane; between 4 and 7 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road; and on Sept. 25 or 26 in the 2300 block of Sirius Street (rear window shattered by a brick).
Westlake/T.O.
A female, 41, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 26 on Westlake Boulevard, north of Kanan Road.
A female, 19, allegedly battered someone she was dating and was arrested at 12:37 a.m. Sept. 27 at Westlake Boulevard and Bay Drive.
For allegedly battering someone he had previously dated, a male, 41, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Sept. 28 at Medicine Bow Court and Clearwater Street, near Westlake Hills Elementary School.
Several computers were stolen from a business on Sept. 28 or 29 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
