WHS to host casino night for music program

The Westlake High School Instrumental Music Boosters will host a casino night at 5:30 p.m. Sat., Oct. 4 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5801 N. Kanan Road, Westlake Village.

The event will feature craps, roulette, blackjack, and Texas Hold 'em poker, and dinner catered by Cisco's Mexican restaurant.

Separate poker tournaments will be held for adults ages 21 and older, and for teenagers. The winner of each tournament will receive an iPod Touch.

The poker tournaments begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m., and the casino night games will be held from 7 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $55 and include $100 in gaming chips as well as food and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the school's instrumental music department. Signup deadline is tomorrow, Sept. 26.
