Troop No. 133 captures the bronze

Girl Scout Junior Troop No. 133 of Thousand Oaks recently received the Bronze Award after a year of hard work in recycling.

Their service project was a community book drive. The girls collected 3,626 books, which they sorted, boxed and delivered to a special needs school in North Hollywood.

The girls also read to students at Lowman school for special needs children.

The honored group meets at Ascension Lutheran School.
