Cabrillo CEO nominated for award

Carole Nussbaum of Thousand Oaks, president and chief executive officer of Cabrillo Music Theatre, has been nominated for the Spotlight Award for creative director of the year.

The Spotlight Awards recognize and honor the top individuals that lead the entertainment industry. The creative director category honors those individuals who have mastered directing the creative process from concept to execution of the event design.

"It is a privilege to be among the many nationally recognized creative individuals nominated for this prestigious award," said Nussbaum.

"I am fortunate to have the dedication and talents of many people, including artistic director Lewis Wilkenfeld, board member and treasurer Louis Klonsky, assistant Alexis Spencer and others who work endlessly in front of and behind the curtain."

Award recipients will be named in February 2009 at the Spotlight Awards ceremony at the Event Solutions Conference and Trade Show in Las Vegas.
