Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 50, at 5:22 p.m. Aug. 13 on Rancho Road, south of the 101 Freeway (a female passenger, 47, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public); a male, 20, at 4 a.m. Aug. 9 at Avenida de La Plata and Calle Zafiro (subject allegedly hit another vehicle then fled the scene.)

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: a male, 21, at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla; a female, 21, at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 2900 block of Molly Court (allegedly resisted arrested).

A male, 30, was arrested on a charge of battery at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla.

An unknown worker stole money out of a woman's purse on Aug. 12 in the 1000 block of Newbury Road.

Property was stolen between June 13 and Aug. 8 in the 3900 block of Kimber Drive.

A thief stole gasoline from another vehicle around 1 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 3200 block of Bear Creek Drive.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, a male, 41, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 1700 block of Newbury Road.
