T.O. Acorn and Conejo Recreation to present free concert

The Conejo Recreation and Park District and the Thousand Oaks Acorn will present a free Motown concert in the park at 5 p.m. Mon., Sept. 1 at Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Ave., Thousand Oaks.

Music will be performed by The Best Intentions. The group pays tribute to the Motown acts of the '60s, '70s and '80s, and features songs by the Four Tops, the Temptations and Marvin Gaye.

Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner. Pets are not allowed.
