Newbury Park

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 22, at 6 p.m. June 4 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road; and a male, 29, at 7:11 p.m. June 3 at Avenida del Platino and Calle Turquesa.

A woman's property valued at $4,833 was stolen from a business on Rancho Conejo Road between Jan. 7 and 14. The crime was recently reported.

A male, 28, entered Newbury Wine and Spirits, and Cask and Wine Shop, two retail stores in the Regency Medical Plaza, and made purchases with a stolen credit card on May 28. The suspect was arrested at the East Valley Sheriff's Station on June 3.

A bicycle was stolen on May 28 or 29 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was damaged around 6 p.m. June 3 in the 200 block of S. Walter Avenue.

Vandals spray painted gang graffiti between May 23 and 27 in the 3400 block of Old Conejo Road.

A vandal broke a decorative outside yard light valued at $10 on May 30 or 31 in the 100 block of Knollwood Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On May 27 or 28 in the 600 block of Calle Sequoia (unsecured); on June 1 or 2 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; on May 31 or June 1 in the 3200 block of Heatherfield Court (window broken and property removed from back seat); on May 28 or 29 in the 800 block of Paseo de Leon; and on April 24 or 25 in the 100 block of Brook Road (unsecured, recently reported).

Thousand Oaks

A man, 25, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a substance believed to be methamphetamine, a digital scale, packaging material and a handgun at 9:20 p.m. May 30 in the 600 block of Calle Tulipan. The suspect was charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a firearm by a felon.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 23, at 10:02 p.m. June 3 driving northbound on Moorpark Road near Janss Road; a male, 31, at 11:48 p.m. May 31 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive (subject allegedly was involved in a traffic collision and fled the scene of the accident on Conejo School Road north of Los Feliz Drive); and a female, 54, at 12:44 a.m. June 2 in the 1600 block of Newbury Road.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 47, at 8:50 p.m. May 30 in the 2400 block of Calle Retama; a male, 27, at 3:40 p.m. June 3 in the 2600 block of Calle Limonero (subject also reportedly possessed less than 1 ounce of marijuana, and was cited for both violations); and a male, 24, at 3:55 p.m. June 3 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane (subject also allegedly possessed a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine, and during a search a canister containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine was discovered in the subject's waistband.

A male, 48, allegedly battered his ex-wife around 4:15 p.m. May 29 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road. He was arrested several hours later in Simi Valley.

A female, 33, allegedly battered her husband, causing visible injuries, at 9:29 p.m. June 2 in the 3100 block of Camino Graciosa.

A female, 44, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and a smoking device; she also allegedly resisted and delayed a police officer at 11:40 p.m. May 31 in the 3200 block of Blue Ridge Court.

On suspicion of mailing a threatening letter, a male, 46, was arrested May 29 in Simi Valley in connection with a crime committed May 23 in the 1700 block of Tiburon Court.

A male, 18, was cited for possessing alcohol and illegal fireworks at 1:11 a.m. May 31 at the intersection of Calle Contento and Olsen Road.

On suspicion of stealing a shirt from Urban Outfitters at 310 W. Hillcrest Road, a female, 19 was cited at 2:19 p.m. June 2. The subject also reportedly possessed marijuana.

A burglar broke into a home and stole property between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 1 in the 600 block of Switzar Lane.

Vandals caused $500 in property damage between May 30 and June 2 in the 2500 block of Vista Wood Circle.

For driving on the wrong side of a divided roadway, a female, 47, was cited at 11:17 p.m. June 1 at Moorpark and Wilbur roads.

For filing a false police report, a female, 40, was cited at 2 p.m. May 30 in the 1300 block of Calle Pimiento.

Property was stolen from a home between 3 and 7 p.m. in the 1100 block of Windsor Drive.

A male, 23, was arrested and charged with resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer at 1:40 a.m. May 16 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane.

On a charge of resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer, a male, 38, was arrested at 9 p.m. May 31 in the 200 block of Whiteside Place.

On suspicion of damaging a vehicle in the 1200 block of Avenida de Los Arboles on Feb.29, a male, 42, was arrested June 3.

Tools, copper fittings and pipes were stolen from a business in the 3600 block of Auto Mall Drive between May 31 and June 2.

Mail was stolen from a front porch in the 900 block of Camino Flores between May 14 and May 27.

Property valued at $1,500 was stolen during a home burglary that occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. May 29 in the 600 block of Via Colinas.

A vandal caused about $100 in property damage on May 20 in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road. The crime was only recently reported.

Property was stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan on June 3 or 4.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On May 31 in the 900 block of Via Colinas and on June 1 in the 1500 block of E. Hillcrest Drive (window broken).

A vandal caused $1,500 in damage to a car between May 19 and June 2 in the 2500 block of Ashmore Circle.

A vehicle was vandalized on May 28 or 29 in the 2900 block of Calle Quebracho. The damage estimate was $500.

A vandal scratched a vehicle, causing more than $400 in damages, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. May 30 in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

In the 3000 block of Calle Quebracho, a vehicle had $200 in damages on May 22 or 23.

A vandal smashed a window and cracked a windshield with a large rock on May 30 at Calle Jazmin and Calle Margarita.

A vehicle was vandalized on June 3 or 4 in the 500 block of Calle Tulipan.

A thief cut the gas line of a vehicle and stole fuel between June 1 and 3 in the 3100 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Gang-style graffiti was applied on May 30 or 31 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Red spray paint was applied to a wall at Conejo Community Park on June 2.

A thief removed a door lock and coin tray from a laundry room at Conejo Creek apartments on May 28.

Property was damaged May 30 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 52, was arrested and charged with drinking and being drunk in public at 4:45 p.m. June 2 in a parking lot at the southwest corner of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Rancho Road. The subject, described in the police report as a transient panhandler, had also allegedly established a campsite in the area where he was sleeping and storing his personal property.
