Young tuba player earns distinction

COME BLOW YOUR HORN- Thousand Oaks resident and Civil Air Patrol cadet Frank Sefton, 14, plays tuba last Friday night, May 9, at Moorpark College with the Air National Guard Band of the Southwest. The band was invited to perform at the college's Grandeur of Winds, Intimacy of Chamber Music event. Frank has been a cadet for more than a year and he also plays tuba with the Los Cerritos Middle School Advanced Band.
