Addiction workshop comes to Ventura

Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital will host a workshop titled "Addiction and the Family" from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thurs., May 29 in the gymnasium at 801 Seneca St., Ventura.

Community members who have been affected by alcoholism or chemical dependency, including recovering individuals, family members, therapists and clinicians, are invited to attend.

The workshop will include stories, lecture, discussion and interactive participation.

Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital is an acute psychiatric hospital that provides inpatient care to both voluntary and involuntary patients on hold for ages 12 and up for shortterm psychiatric stabilization.
