Child donates cash

Madrona Elementary School recently held a "Pennies for Patience" drive to raise money for children diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma.

Third-grade teacher Carol Canet was particularly impressed by student Rebecca Belleville, who cleaned out her piggy bank at home to donate to the fundraiser. Rebecca's contribution totaled $50.
