Gymnasts to show off skills

Monarchs National Gymnastics Training Center will host an exhibition of about 1,400 athletes, from children through adults, on Sat., May 31 at the center, 3599 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park.

Kindergarten gymnasts will perform at 10 a.m. The BMOD Fitness group for athletes with special needs will perform at noon. The recreational and invitation classes will perform at 1 p.m. Team exhibition will continue throughout the day.

The teams include Monarchs' award-winning girls, boys and rhythmic teams.

Every performer will receive a medal.

The event will also include food, a moon bounce, vendors and a raffle.
