Nonprofit nominations due at Chamber by tomorrow

The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Community Foundation is accepting nominations of nonprofit organizations for the sixth annual Spirit of Community Awards Celebration. Nominations will be accepted through tomorrow, Fri., May 16.

The awards also recognize educators, community volunteers, law enforcement agencies, fire protection agencies and armed forces for their contributions to the cities of Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village.

The awards ceremony, along with dessert reception, will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., June 5 at Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. The cost is $27, and reservations are required.
