The letters are full of negativism

It's exciting to see the Thousand Oaks Acorn become a better and better paper- what was once an advertising throwaway is now becoming a good source of community news.

But I have one beef: why let angry people unleash so much vitriol in your letters section? I think you should have a policy to refuse to print anything that's not constructive, of general interest and written with restraint and good manners.

There's far too much political and personal "venting" going on, and this degrades the quality of the Acorn and sours our community spirit.

In fact, it might be best to discontinue the letters section entirely.
