T.O. Library needs volunteers

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library is seeking a volunteer for the position of membership vice president.

Duties include maintaining the membership database using Microsoft Excel, sending out yearly membership renewal letters and developing programs and activities to increase membership.

These duties could be shared by two people if one person was only interested in maintaining the membership database and another person was more interested in working to increase membership.

The Friends is a nonprofit support group for the Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park Branch libraries. The group raises thousands of dollars to support library programs through the sale of used books and through membership dues.
