Democratic congressional candidate gets labor endorsement

Mary Pallant, Democratic candidate for Congress in the 24th district, serving most of Ventura County and inland Santa Barbara County, has received an endorsement from the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO.

Over the last 18 months Pallant has hosted a speaker series in Ventura County, bringing speakers such as Ambassador Joe Wilson and Thom Hartmann to the area. She also helped create the Progressive Democrats of America, Ventura County chapter.
