Audubon Society announces May events The Conejo Audubon Society has announced its events calendar for May. Elzbet Diaz de Leon will present "The Carbon Diet" at 7:30 p.m. Mon., May 5 at the Western Foundation for Vertebrate Zoology at 439 Calle San Pablo, Camarillo. A trip into the Sierra Vista/ Santa Monica Mountains Recreation area will be held 8 a.m. Sun., May 11. A trip to Wheeler Gorge State Park will be held 8 a.m. Sun., May 25. The group will look for neo-tropical migrants at the park, then move up to Rose Valley for a picnic lunch.
