Conejo Players holds auditions

The Conejo Players are holding auditions for "Social Security" at 7 p.m. Sun., April 27 and at 7:30 p.m. Mon., April 28 and Tues., April 29 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

"Social Security" is a comedy about a married pair of art dealers whose domestic tranquility is shattered when they're visited by the wife's mother, sister and brother-in-law.

Characters are David Kahn, 30s to 40s, hard working gogetter; Barbara Kahn, 30s to 40s, David's stylish wife; Trudy Heyman, 30s to 40s, Barbara's unstylish sister; Martin Heyman, 30s to 40s, Trudy's nerdy husband; Sophie Greengrass, 80, Barbara and Trudy's mother; Maurice Koenig, 100, renowned artist.

All roles are open. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No appointment is necessary to audition.
