Newbury Park

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a male, 40, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. April 12 in the 3300 block of Kimber Drive.

A male, 34, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 11:17 p.m. April 16 at Borchard Road and Michael Drive.

Two males, both 18, were arrested on charges of trespassing at 8:45 a.m. April 11 in the 600 block of Gerst Drive.

For allegedly possessing marijuana with the intent to sell it, a male, 23, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. April 11 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 50, was arrested and charged with battery at 2:39 p.m. April 13 in the 100 block of Rancho Road.

Someone vandalized property at the Boys and Girls Club at Sequoia Middle School between April 11 and 14.

Incidents of theft were reported on dates and places indicated: Between 10 and 10:40 a.m. April 15 in the 2400 block of Teller Road; around 6 a.m. April 13 in the 1600 block of Ramona Drive; between 11:18 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. April 12 in the 3800 block of Mayfield Street; on April 8 or 9 in the 100 block of Maynard Avenue; on April 5 in the 400 block of S. Ventu Park Road; on April 1 in the 500 block of Knollwood Drive; and on April 13 or 14 in the 3200 block of Peppermint Street.

Vandals caused $120 in damage on April 11 or 12 in the 300 block of Jenny Drive.

A vandal illegally entered a home and damaged the premises between March 29 and April 2 in the 700 block of Jenny Drive. The crime was only recently reported.

Vandalism occurred between April 6 and 9 in the 1700 block of Hillcrest Drive.

A vandal damaged property April 7 or 8 in the 100 block of Deer Path Lane.

Vandalism occurred on April 7 or 8 in the 2300 block of Adrian Street.

A yogurt store in the 700 block of N. Wendy Drive was burglarized around 8:20 p.m. April 10.

A vandal damaged or removed parts of a vehicle on April 11 or 12 in the 3300 block of Henry Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On April 10 or 11 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; on April 10 or 11 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; on April 11 or 12 in the 400 block of Jenny Drive; on April 9 or 10 in the 600 block of Ruth Drive; on April 7 or 8 in the 200 block of Deer Path Lane; and on April 7 or 8 in the 300 block of Deer Path Lane.

Thousand Oaks

A male, 28, was arrested on charges of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a dangerous weapon, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and for possessing drug paraphernalia at 1:40 a.m. April 12 in the 2200 block of Los Feliz Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 22, at 10:50 a.m. April 12 in the first block of MacAfee Court; a male, 41, at 6:15 p.m. at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Rancho Road.

A female, 33, was arrested for allegedly stealing a car, possessing less than one ounce of marijuana and possessing false identification at 9:08 p.m. April 14 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 42, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:57 a.m. April 11 at Wild Rosa and Triunfo Canyon.

A male, 36, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:15 a.m. April 12 in the 100 block of Via Colinas.

A male, 45, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 4:23 p.m. in the dirt parking lot at Wildwood Park.

A male, 48, was arrested and charged with elder abuse and obstructing justice or resisting arrest at 7:31 p.m. April 11 in the 700 block of Brossard Drive.

On charges of committing assault with a deadly weapon and for attempting to commit a robbery, a male, 18, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. April 15 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 44, was arrested and charged with burglary at 3:41 p.m. April 13 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue.

A female, 38, was arrested on charges of grand theft at 11:34 a.m. April 14 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 28, was arrested for allegedly lying to police about his identity at 1:34 p.m. April 13 at Hodencamp Road and Flittner Circle.

A male, 47, was arrested and charged with grand theft at 6:30 p.m. April 10 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

A female, 31, was cited for petty theft at 11:52 a.m. April 14 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

Shoplifting occurred at a business in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive around 10 a.m. April 15.

A male, 47, was arrested and charged with inflicting corporal injury to his spouse or cohabitant at 3:35 p.m. April 7 in Ventura regarding an alleged crime committed in 800 block of Pleasant Dale Place.

A male, 18, was arrested on charges of vandalism at 5:51 p.m. April 14 at the sheriff's station.

A female, 43, was arrested for allegedly not returning stolen property to its rightful owner at 2:16 p.m. April 9 in the 100 block of W. Janss Circle.

A female, 18, was cited for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana at 4:45 p.m. April 9 in 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between 2:37 and 4:15 p.m. April 11 in the 1900 block of Summer Cloud Drive; on April 15 in the 3000 block of Los Feliz Drive; on April 10 or 11 in the 2800 block of White Ridge Place; on April 9 or 10 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road; and on April 10 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 18, was cited for petty theft at 8 p.m. April 9 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: A male, 51, at 3:30 p.m. April 12 in the first block of Rancho Road; a male, 47, at 3:45 p.m. April 12 in the first block of Rancho Road; a male, 38, at 5:20 p.m. April 12 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 36, at 5:10 p.m. April 12 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 51, in a parking lot south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard at Rancho Road (subject also arrested for disorderly conduct.)

A male, 35, was cited for possessing marijuana and a smoking device at 4:50 p.m. April 12 at the intersection of Windsor Drive and Janss Road.

A burglar stole items from storage containers belonging to six people on April 10 or 11 in the 1600 block of W. Potrero Road.

A shoplifting occurred in Claire's Accessories at 266 W. Hillcrest Drive around 3 p.m. April 12.

Burglaries occurred on the following dates and places: On April 12 or 13 in the 1000 block of Old Farm Road; on April 13 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue; between March 30 and April 1 in the 300 block of Venus Street (recently reported); around 3:20 a.m. April 14 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road (attempted); between midnight and 6:30 a.m. April 15 in the 3400 block of Country Haven Circle; on April 5 or 6 in the 800 block of Rim Crest Drive; on April 9 or 10 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road; and after midnight April 10 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A petty theft occurred around noon April 16 in the 3500 block of Campus Drive.

Shoplifting occurred at Macy's Department Store at 220 W. Hillcrest Drive between 6:10 and 8 p.m. April 9.

A petty theft occurred on April 6 or 7 in the 200 block Lynn Oaks Avenue.

Two incidents of graffiti vandalism caused about $500 in damages between Jan. 1 and April 8 in the 900 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Gang-related vandalism caused about $200 in damage to property in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive between April 4 and 7.

Graffiti vandalism caused $125 in damages between Jan. 1 and Feb. 5 in the 2600 block of Calle Abedul. The incident was only recently reported.

A male, 21, was arrested on charges of being drunk in public at 4:58 a.m. April 13 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 33, was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public at 11:15 p.m. April 12 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.

Westlake/T.O.

A vandal caused about $1,500 in damage on April 12 or 13 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A petty theft from an office building occurred between 12:20 and 12:30 p.m. April 9 in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A vandal caused more than $400 in damage to property in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard between 12:30 and 12:37 p.m. April 9.

A petty theft was reported in the 1700 block of Upper Ranch Road on April 5.
