Cabrillo holding auditions for 'Singin' In the Rain'

Cabrillo Music Theatre will hold auditions for "Singin' In the Rain" from May 17 through 20.

Auditions for non-Equity performers will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sat., May 17; 1 to 9 p.m. Sun., May 18; and 6 to 11 p.m. Tues., May 20. All auditions will be at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest, Thousand Oaks.

Auditions for Equity performers for the roles of Lena and Kathy will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon., May 19 at Madilyn Clark Studios, 10852 Burbank Blvd., North Hollywood.

Rehearsals begin June 21 for non-Equity performers and June 30 or July 7 for Equity performers. The show will play July 25 to Aug. 3 in the Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Auditions are by appointment only. Appointments will be taken beginning Mon., April 28.

All roles are open except for Don and Cosmo, and all roles are available to nonunion performers.

Bring a picture and resume. Some roles require dancing and need a dance audition.
