Zonta Club awards scholarship

Zonta Club of Conejo Valley has selected Daniela Kim as the 2008 Klausman Women in Business award winner.

The club presented Kim with a $400 check. She's eligible to compete for district and international awards.

Kim was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is in the process of becoming a U.S. citizen. She's studying for a Bachelor of Science in accountancy at Cal State University Northridge. Her plans are to pursue graduate studies in tax law and become a certified public accountant.

Last year Kim was chosen for a summer leadership program in tax law at Ernst & Young in Los Angeles.

Kim has also participated in the Africa Relief and Outreach program to Nigeria and Ghana through the University of the Nations, and has traveled to

The Jane Klausman Women in Business Scholarship was established by a bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, NY. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate women studying business who have demonstrated outstanding potential in the field.
