Law enforcement officers host event for their fallen friends

PRIDE BOWL 2008- The honor guard of Ventura County Sheriff's Department marches to remember fallen officers during halftime at the 26th annual Pride Bowl. The football game at Newbury Park High School on Saturday night generated money for the California Peace Officers Memorial Fund, the Ventura County Special Olympics and for the family of CHP officer Tony Pedefferi, who was critically injured in a traffic accident.
