Wellness to host seminar on radiation treatment

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will host a seminar titled "Radiation Update: Cancer Research and Treatment" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., April 17 at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

Radiation oncologists Eugene Ahn, M.D., and Paul Miller, M.D., will discuss radiation research, MammoSites for breast cancer and gamma knife treatment of brain cancers.

Ahn and Miller are affiliated with North Oaks Radiation Center in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Radiation Oncology Center in Westlake Village. Ahn is medical director of the Los Robles Gamma Knife Center. Miller is principal investigator at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center for the Southwest Oncology Group.
