Santa Barbara County wines to be showcased

A 2008 Santa Barbara County Wine Futures event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sat., April 12 at the Wine Cask, 813 Anacapa St., Santa Barbara.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to sample and purchase more than 100 wines from Santa Barbara County wineries before they are released to the public.

Tickets are limited and cost $75. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the new children's hospital at Cottage.
