Dunn responsive to her inquiry, others weren't

On Nov. 1, Mr. Dan Goldberg wrote the first of a series of letters regarding the unusual and harsh expulsion of his son from Los Cerritos Middle School.

Since we know the family and were among a number of concerned friends of the Goldbergs, I wrote each and every school board member listed on the Conejo Valley Unified School District website.

I asked each one of them very pointed questions, and requested common sense answers.

I received a very prompt and clear response from Mike Dunn.

The other four, namely Dorothy Beaubien, Timothy Stephens, Patricia Phelps and Dolores Didio, have remained awkwardly silent for four months.

Let's remember those who didn't bother to respond when we vote this November, and in all subsequent elections for the school board. Beverly Barchilon Thousand Oaks
