Ride On open house demonstrates therapeutic riding, other programs
Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., April 5 at 401 Ronel Court, Newbury Park.
The family oriented event will give the community an opportunity to learn about the services offered to children and adults with special needs. The day will include demonstrations by students highlighting the programs that Ride On provides, including therapeutic riding and physical therapy on horseback.
There will be entertainment and activities for children including stick horse crafts, Jolly Jump, pony petting, face and hair painting and a horseshoe hunt.
Staff and board members will be on hand to talk about volunteer and involvement opportunities.
Lunch will be served by local Rotarians from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
