Critic of our congressman is obviously a liberal

In response to the March 13 letter from Jerold Drucker ("It's time for fresh ideas in Congress"), my family and I are pleased that we have U.S. Rep. Elton Gallegly supporting our efforts to fight terrorism and hope he gets reelected to continue protecting us.

Our government needs to do whatever it takes to protect us and to prevent another 9/11 from happening, which is why we need to pass the surveillance bill again. It was allowed to expire, which is putting Americans at risk.

It if was up to the liberals, we wouldn't have the Patriot Act or the surveillance bill, and then when we are attacked again, who do you think the liberals will blame?

Mr. Drucker, you're just pushing your liberal agenda, which is calling for change- and, by the way, not all change is good. Ann Lalo Thousand Oaks
