Patriotic music concert to help Stagecoach Inn

The Stagecoach Inn Museum Foundation will present "America, Lift Up Your Voice" at 2 p.m. Sun., April 6 at the Scherr Auditorium at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Based on the "period concerts" of the last two years, this concert of American pieces is the third in this series by the museum foundation.

Grammy award nominee Shelly Cohen, producer, will conduct the new Horizon Singers. Stephen Piazza will conduct the Los Angeles Symphonic Winds.

The museum will have docents in period costumes with displays beginning at 1 p.m. Music CDs will be on sale. R.L. (Buffalo Bob) Rickard's painting of the inn in the 19th century will be on display.

Tickets are $30 and all proceeds go to support the inn and museum complex.
