House of Hope hosts open house, asks public to bring toys for patients

Universal Love Foundation will host its House of Hope-Grief and Loss Center open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., April 5 at 28720 Canwood St., No. 104, Agoura Hills.

The open house is in cooperation with Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. The public is invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to the open house for the patients of the Childrens Hospital. Visit www.chla.org for toy suggestions. Donations will also be accepted for the hospital.

The activities are free and include face painting, balloon art and music, all geared toward children.

Manzar Amini, House of Hope founder, says, "Our intention is to inform the public of our existence and the services we provide at no cost and, of course, to help the children at Childrens Hospital by hosting a toy drive. The open house will also enable children to visit our House of Hope and have fun."

ULF's is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping single parents by providing referral services to improve their lives, on a case by case basis. The House of Hope is a grief and loss center providing peer support groups to children and their families at no cost.
