Chili event needs cooks

The Thousand Oaks Rotary Club is seeking cooks and vendors for the 33rd annual Conejo Valley Days Chili Cook-Off scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 27 at Conejo Creek Park South on Janss Road just east of the 23 Freeway in Thousand Oaks.

The event will include more than 50 types of chili, live music, entertainment and a children's area.

The cost is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Parking is also free.
