Elks have new leader

TAKES THE GAVEL- The new exalted ruler of the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge is George Meehan. He served in the U.S. Navy, graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor's degree in business and became quite active with the T.O. Lodge after he retired. His wife of 47 years is Cornelia. They have three grown daughters, Kathleen, Patricia and Mary Ellen. George and Cornelia have kept busy in several local groups and organizations.
