Concert to benefit African orphans

Local bands will perform to raise funds for AIDS orphan children in Africa at 7 p.m. Fri., March 14 and Sat., March 15 at the Conejo Valley Community Church, 750 Erbes Road, Thousand Oaks.

Bands scheduled to perform on Friday are Train Ticket Home, Curicula, Another Day In Vain, Break Free!, The Linden Murder and Betrayal.

On Saturday, bands scheduled are Nathan's Project, Vanity Play, King City Speed Trap, The Stine Homicide, Waltz Reprise and Bear Claw.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m. The cost is $10 per night or $15 for both nights.
