Brighter Horizons will be presented at Cal Lutheran

Brighter Horizons 2008 will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Sat., March 8 at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

Brighter Horizons is a halfday conference designed for students in grades five through nine, providing them a chance to learn about career opportunities in math, science and technology. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in three different workshops.

Workshops have covered subjects such as veterinary medicine, hospital laboratories, forensics, biotechnology, astronomy, mechanical engineering, architecture and chemistry.

Registration is $10.
