Auditions for historical program set

Auditions for a new historical program, scheduled for Sept. 27 and 28 and Oct. 4 and 5, will be from 9 a.m. to noon Sat., March 8 and 15 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

The program, sponsored by the Conejo Valley Historical Society, replaces "An Evening on the Conejo" last presented in 2006.

In the new program, after a supper served on the grounds, cast members will portray Chumash Indians, Spanish explorers and early local families on the porch of the museum.

In addition to actors, volunteers are needed for production, costumes, props and other details.
