End-of-life issues to be addressed

End-of-life issues for aging family members is the theme of a seminar scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., March 11 at Senior Concerns Adult Day Center, 401 Hodencamp Road in Thousand Oaks.

Dr. Alan C. Mintz of Thousand Oaks, a specialist in general and vascular surgery, will lead the seminar, the follow-up discussion and the questionand-answer period.

He will cover such subjects as advanced medical directives and when they would become effective, whether the doctor would follow the individual's wishes and seeking agreement among family members.

The seminar is free. Reservations are encouraged. Walk-in registration will be based on seating ability. Phone reservations are required to arrange respite care for specialneed seniors.
