Sheriff's Blotter Newbury Park A male, 45, was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse at 7:04 a.m. Feb. 27 in the 4800 block of Via Estrella. On charges of possessing substances believed to be Ecstasy and marijuana, a male, 19, was arrested at 10:13 p.m. Feb. 25 on Old Conejo Road. A male, 19, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in a "no trespassing" area at 3:15 a.m. Feb. 22 near Conejo Center Drive and Conejo Spectrum Street. A male, 22, driving a separate vehicle in the same area, was cited for having an open container of alcohol. Two female passengers, 20 and 19, were also cited for trespassing on private property. Property was stolen between 2 and 3:30 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 300 block of Jenny Drive. Property was stolen from a front porch area of a home between 2 and 6 a.m. Feb. 24 in the 3300 block of Jessica Street. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between midnight and 5:38 a.m. Feb. 24 in the 3400 block of Henry Drive; and on Feb. 24 or 25 in the 800 block of N. Verna Drive. Thousand Oaks A male, 24, was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse at 9:11 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 1800 block of Calle Petaluma. On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 20, at 11:45 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 300 block of Green Moor Place (allegedly without a driver's license and reportedly involved in a traffic collision and left the scene of the accident); a male, 23, at 8:43 p.m. Feb. 22 in the 100 block of Meagan Place; a male, 19, at 9:53 a.m. Feb. 23 in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive (allegedly drove the wrong way and over the center median and lied about his name); a male, 60, at 12:51 p.m. Feb. 23 on Avenida Verano north of Corte de Primavera; a female, 41, at 11:16 p.m. Feb. 23 at Avenida de Los Arboles and La Paloma Circle; (single-vehicle traffic collision); a female, 26, at 2 a.m. Feb. 24 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 26, driving southbound on the 23 Freeway south of Janss Road (subject was reported to have hit the center divider and nearly hit three vehicles, and he allegedly possessed drugs Diazapam and Trazadone without prescriptions); and a male, 37, at 11:31 p.m. Feb. 25 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Abedul. A female, 37, was allegedly under the influence of drugs when she was involved in a traffic collision in the 500 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard at 7:41 p.m. Feb. 26. The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A female, 44, at 5:40 p.m. Feb. 22 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive; a male, 39, at 6:48 a.m. Feb. 23 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 32, and a female, 34, at 8:20 a.m. Feb. 27 in the first block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles. For possessing less than one ounce of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 5:35 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 2400 block of Sapra Street. The front lawn of Park Oaks Elementary School was vandalized when somebody rode a motorcycle on it on either Feb. 24 or 25. A male, 28, and a female, 21, were arrested on charges of using force and fear to steal money and valuables from someone at the intersection of Sheffield Place and Galsworthy Street on Feb. 15. The suspects were arrested Feb. 24 in Maywood, Calif. For allegedly giving false information during a traffic stop, a male, 37, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Feb. 20 at N. Moorpark Road and Janss Road. A female, 28, was arrested for allegedly using force against someone she dated at 7:19 p.m. Feb. 23 in the first block of Meagan Place. A male, 21, was arrested on charges of battering his significant other at the same time and location. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Feb. 20 or 21 in the 2300 block of Whitechapel Place; between 4 and 4:45 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 1100 block of Burtonwood Avenue; on Feb. 21 or 22 in the southeast corner of Los Padres Drive at Rolling Oaks Drive (passenger door window smashed); between Feb. 19 and 22 in the 1200 block of E. Encino Vista Lane (unlocked); on Feb. 21 or 22 in the 500 block of Kalinda Place; between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road; on Feb. 23 or 24 in the 100 block of Colt Lane; and between 5 and 5:25 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (unlocked). A vehicle was egged and keyed with an unknown object on Feb. 22 or 23 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan. A windshield on one vehicle and a passenger-side windshield wiper of a second vehicle were damaged with a red clay brick on Feb. 21 or 22 in the 1600 block of Hendrix Avenue. Tires on both vehicles were also deflated. The damage was estimated at $1,340. In a gang-related offense, graffiti vandalism defaced a truck on Feb. 18 or 19 in the 500 block of Pennsfield Place. It's the second such incident in the same vicinity. For allegedly running from police when he was in Conejo Community Park after hours, a male, 18, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 21. A male, 21, was arrested on charges of petty theft at 10:50 a.m. Feb. 27 at East Valley Sheriff's Station. For allegedly stealing money from someone's wallet around noon Feb. 7 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road, a female, 19, was arrested at East Valley Sheriff's Station at 8:25 a.m. Feb. 22. A male, 18, was cited for possessing vandalism tools, including paint markers and spray can tips, at 10 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road. Property in a security deposit box in a bank was stolen between Jan. 20 and Feb. 20 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A front door was kicked in by a vandal around 12:55 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 3200 block of Pembridge Street. During a verbal altercation, someone punched holes through walls with his fists. The person then attempted to verbally provoke a fight and scratched the paint of a truck when he left the home. A thief broke into a business and stole property on Feb. 24 or 25 in the 600 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. Property was stolen from a home on Feb. 26 in the 600 block of Azalea Street. A burglar broke a window to gain entry into a home and stole property between 12:45 and 1:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 800 block of Valley High Avenue. A grand theft that occurred between July 1, 2006, and Sept. 1, 2006, in the 300 block of David Lane was only recently reported. A male, 18, was arrested on charges of vandalism and for disturbing the peace at 8:38 a.m. Feb. 26 near the 1900 block of Ferndale Place. A male, 51, was cited for drinking a silver can of Steel Reserve beer at 10:50 a.m. Feb. 21 in the first block of S. Rancho Road. Westlake/T.O. A commercial burglary occurred on Feb. 24 or 25 in the 600 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. A bicycle was stolen Feb. 23 or 24 in the 2800 block of Hickory Wood Lane.
Four businesses in the 900 block of Hampshire Road were broken into and property was stolen on Feb. 24 or 25. |
