Newbury Park

A male, 31, allegedly battered his spouse, threatened to kill her if she called police and kept her from leaving her apartment to get help at 2:23 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 59, at 7:53 p.m. Feb. 19 while driving westbound on Borchard Road at Cabrillo Court; and a male, 59, at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at Borchard Road and Newbury Road (traffic collision).

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 37, at 2:20 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road (suspect was also arrested on a charge of child endangerment); a female, 22, at 9:33 a.m. Feb. 14 in the 2100 block of Newbury Road (suspect allegedly possessed substances believed to methamphetamine and eight grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia); a male, 24, at 5:05 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 1700 block of Calle Diamonte Street; and a male, 19, at 7:20 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 1600 block of Amador Lane.

A male, 42, was cited for possession of marijuana and having an open alcoholic beverage in his vehicle at 11:35 p.m. Feb. 17 on Ventu Park Road south of Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 35, was arrested and charged with battery against a cohabitant and for resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer at 7:45 p.m. Feb. 21 in the first block of S. Wendy Drive.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: On Feb. 14 or 15 in the 1400 block of Oak Trail Street (graffiti defaced the interior and exterior of unlocked vehicle); on Feb. 13 or 14 in the 1900 block of W. Oracle Court; and on Feb. 13 or 14 in the 500 block of Canyon Vista Drive (unlocked).

A white substance, possibly paint, was poured on a vehicle on Feb. 15 or 16 in the 4000 block of Barcelona Place.

Graffiti damaged windows at Banyan Elementary School between Feb. 15 and 18.

On a charge of fraudulently using the identity of her Thousand Oaks-based employer to obtain goods, credit and services, a female, 54, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. Feb. 21 in the 1000 block of Broadbeck Drive.

A bicycle was stolen from a locked storage bin on Feb. 18 in the 300 block of S. Rancho Road.

A doormat valued at $14.99 was stolen from a home's front porch Feb. 14 or 15 in the 500 block of N. Los Vientos Drive.

A burglar entered someone's home without force and stole property on Feb. 12 in the 700 block of Rudman Drive.

A vandal damaged the exterior and interior of a vehicle with graffiti on Feb. 14 or 15 in the 1300 block of Oak Trail Street.

Property was stolen on Feb. 19 in the 100 block of S. Dewey Avenue.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 45, at 12:33 a.m. Feb. 21 at Camino Manzanas and Lynn Road; and a male, 19, at 2:15 a.m. Feb. 17 across the street from Thousand Oaks High School on Moorpark Road.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: Three males, ages 40, 27 and 20, at 4:15 p.m. Feb. 20 at Avenida de Los Plantas and Calle Tulipan; a male, 23, at 11:15 p.m. Feb. 15 at Montgomery Road and Montgomery Court (suspect allegedly possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine, Xanax and a glass smoking pipe, while an open alcoholic beverage was within reach in his car); and a male, 43, at 1 p.m. Feb. 15 in the 100 block of Summerfield Street.

After a female, 19, was arrested on suspicion of stealing two pairs of jeans at 4:13 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, a search of the suspect reportedly revealed two small bundles of a substance believed to be heroin in a makeup case in her purse.

A male, 23, was arrested and charged with possessing marijuana for sale at 7:45 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

For possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 7:45 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

For possessing medication without a prescription, a male, 22, was cited at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A necklace was stolen from a safety deposit box between Sept. 3 and Feb. 14 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 31, was arrested on suspicion of battering someone at 4:25 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 2800 block of Los Robles Road.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: On Feb. 18 or 19 in the 1600 block of E. Hillcrest Drive; on Feb. 19 or 20 in the 1200 block of Landsburn Circle (window smashed); on Feb. 20 or 21 in the first block of Wales Street (attempted forced entry); on Feb. 18 or 19 in the 400 block of Galsworthy Street (window broken); on Feb. 18 or 19 in the 700 block of Beall Street (unlocked); on Feb. 15 in the 4000 block of N. Moorpark Road (purse stolen); on Feb. 13 or 14 in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive; on Feb. 20 or 21 in two locations in the first block of Doone Street; and on Feb. 20 or 21 in the 1800 block of Woodside Drive (window broken).

A vandal threw a rock at a car windshield between 5:40 and 5:57 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 1700 block of Hendrix Avenue.

An arsonist set fire to a car around 11:20 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 1200 block of Tierra Drive.

Vehicles were vandalized on Feb. 15 or 16 at Village Glen, north of Watergate Road.

A vandal placed a hose through a door at Acacia Elementary School and flooded a storage area on Feb. 18.

Two robbers, one known and one unknown, threatened a person with a firearm and stole property between 7:55 and 8:05 p.m. Feb. 15 at Sheffield Place and Galsworthy Street.

A female, 39, was arrested for allegedly inflicting injury on a cohabitant or former spouse at 7:40 a.m. Feb. 15 in the 2900 block of Eagles Claw Avenue.

In a gang-related crime, a robber attempted to steal a person's wallet by throwing punches around 8 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A thief stole auto parts during daytime on Feb. 14 in the 3900 block of Auto Mall Drive.

Gang graffiti was found on a wall Feb. 18 on the 23 Freeway, south of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A vandal broke 19 pop-up sprinkler heads at Los Robles Greens golf course on Feb. 17 or 18.

On a charge of possessing a deadly weapon, a male, 35, was arrested at 11:42 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 400 block of McCloud Street.

A male, 47, was recently arrested and charged with domestic violence that occurred Feb. 5 in the 1300 block of Calle Pimiento.

For allegedly stealing rims and tires, a male, 18, was arrested at 4:48 a.m. Feb. 14 in the 3900 block of Auto Mall Drive.

A thief stole air conditioning parts from three rooftop air conditioner units on Feb. 12 or 13 in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Shoplifting occurred between Feb. 7 and 15 in the 1000 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A male, 36, was recognized and arrested in connection with a previous liquor theft at 2:59 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

More than $400 in valuables were stolen on Feb. 19 or 20 in the 1000 block of Evenstar Avenue.

A thief stole clothes from a store between 4 and 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A vandal wrote on the front door of a business with a marking pen on Feb. 15 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

On a charge of providing false information to a police officer, a male, 34, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Feb. 20 at N. Moorpark and Janss roads.

A female, 23, was recently cited for vandalism that took place Dec. 13 in the 400 block of Raindance Street.

Vandal(s) caused $600 in property damage between noon and 1:20 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 3100 block of Darlington Drive.

A vandal threw a rock through a vehicle window between 8 and 9 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

For allegedly being involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision, a female, 18, was cited at 11:24 p.m. Feb. 15 in the 2900 block of Santiago Street.

A vandal wrote graffiti on a basketball court and pole for the basket between Feb. 15 and 19 in Estella Park.

On suspicion of possessing stolen property, a male, 54, was arrested at 4 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 500 block of Irving Street.

Property valued at $465 was damaged on Feb. 15 in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 18, was arrested and charged with stealing $34 in merchandise at 3:40 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

After allegedly stealing $20 in merchandise, a male, 19, was cited at 2:59 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A known suspect exhibited a handgun and pointed it in a rude or threatening manner to someone around 10 p.m. Feb. 14 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Globe Street.

A vandal threw a rock at a car windshield while the vehicle was being driven at about 7:35 p.m. Feb. 14 on Moorpark Road, north of Wilbur Road.

On suspicion of shoplifting, a female, 33, was cited at 6:18 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 49, was arrested and charged with petty theft at 11 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A petty theft occurred between Feb. 14 and 21 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 49, at 7:03 p.m. Feb. 15 in the 1400 block of E. Janss Road (he allegedly couldn't stand up on his own and was so intoxicated that he sat in the middle of a parking lot as cars drove around him); and a male, 25, at 2:39 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 200 block of Janss Road.

On suspicion of drinking in public, a male, 37, was cited at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 14 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
