Get those kids in kindergarten

Parents may pick up fall kindergarten registration packets at school sites beginning Mon., Feb. 25.

Beginning March 3, parents may register children who will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 2, 2008. Packets should be returned to the school office by March 10.

Parents will need to bring a certified copy of their child's birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport to the school office. Also needed are the child's immunization records and two proofs of residence such as signed escrow or rental agreement, utility bills or current driver's license.

Parents should check with their physician or clinic regarding which immunizations are required. Children whose immunizations are not current by the first day of school will be excluded.

Children are not considered registered until the school office accepts all completed forms. No spaces are held by picking up a packet.
